This diet is used at the various hospitals in the UK for very overweight heart patients who need to lose weight rapidly, usually before any surgery.
6 Large Onions 2 Green Peppers 1 Bunch Celery 1 Large Cabbage 2 Cans tomatoes 1 Soup Stock Cube season with salt, pepper, curry powder as desired.
Cut vegetables into small/medium pieces and cover with water. Boil for 10 minutes, simmer gently till tender. This soup can be eaten any time you are hungry, it will not add calories. The more you eat the more weight you will lose. If eaten alone for long periods you will suffer malnutrition.
All fruits except bananas. Melon are lower in calories than most. Eat only soup and fruit.
All vegetables. Eat until you are full with fresh raw or canned veg. Try to eat green leafy veg and avoid dry beans peas and corn. Eat plenty of soup. At dinner time reward yourself with a large baked potato and butter.
Day ThreeEat all soup fruit and veg you want. Do not have a baked potato.
If you have stuck to the diet without cheating, you sbould have lost 5-7 lbs.
Bananas and skimmed milk. Eat as many as 8 bananas and as many glasses_of water as possible along with the soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates as is the milk but today your body will need the potassium and carbohydrates, proteins and calcium to ease your craving for sweet foods.
Beef and tomatoes you may have 10 to 20 ounces of beef, 1 can of tomatoes or up to 6 fresh on this day. Try to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water to wash away the uric acid, eat the soup at least once today.
Beef and Vegetables, eat as much beef and veg as you like. You can even have two or three steaks with green leafy veg, but no baked potato - eat soup at least once today.
Brown Rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables. Eat until you are full. Have soup at least once.
At the end of the seventh day if you have not cheated you will have lost 10-17 lbs, if you lost more than 15 lbs stay off the diet for 2 full days. This seven day eating plan can be used as often as you like. If correctly followed it will clean your system of impurities. This diet is a fast fat burning plan, whose secret is that you will burn more calories then you eat. It is recommended that you abstain from alcohol during this diet due to the removal of fat build up. Go off the diet for at least 24 hours before any intake of alcohol.
If after day three you find that your bowel movements have changed, eat a cup of bran.
Bread, fried foods, alcohol, carbonated drinks (including diet). Stick to water, unsweetend tea. coffee, unsweetened fruit juice, cranberry juice and skimmed milk. The soup can be eaten ANY TIME you feel hungry the more you eat the more weight you will lose. You can have baked chicken (no skin) instead of beef or you can have poached or grilled fish on one of the beef days.
